oldbloke at 12:36pm on 24/11/2004Well, did most of me standard checkup on his machine - no virus, a little innocuous adware. Couldn't do the full check as he doesn't know his password for McAfee Security Center.
DUH!!!
He appears to have NO data on the machine, barring a few audio files. Lots of links to the A drive though.
I think he's managed to trash his floppies himself by some strange combination of copying and opening in the wrong apps. It's possible somebody else got hold of them and did some weird mass hatchet job, but it's too obscure to sort.
