It struck us last night that we haven't heard anything from J about his imaginary Grandad for a while. Coincidentally there's a big article in the current Fortean Times about imaginary friends. Jack's didn't, as far as I'm aware, ever appear to him - he was just somebody who existed; J used to ask when we'd visit him, and there'd be "My Grandad said" and "At my Grandad's house there is" stuff. I think possibly J may have been there in his dreams.
