Anyway, he's forgotten that while I'm the one decluttering he's the one spring-cleaning, so his job will be easier. If he ever starts it.

In these days of clean air, central heating, vacuum cleaners, and washing machines "spring cleaning" is an event which has outlived its usefulness.

Exactly. There's no time for a big, drains up clean in spring time. You have to fritter away at it bit by bit when you can.

Mind you, it's taken me nearly 6 years to get around to throwing out the 2 manky old, torn sleeping bags.
