I was surprised by the Euro exchange rate when I was looking at accommodation prices the other day. I reckon we ought to just have sensible fixed exchange rates, at the level that I think is about right. One pound = 1.5 euros = 2 US dollars = 2.5 Aus/NZ dollars. All other currencies should be abolished.

Next week: having fixed the global economy, I tackle the Middle East.
