... is neutered.
They found his second testicle in his tummy. Daft cat. The extra surgery (and time) this involved means the RSPCA may not cover /all/ the cost, but hey.
I collect him about 5.

I may use this as my excuse for having a pot belly.

The RSPCA cover any of the cost? Gosh. When I got our rescue cats, I had to promise to arange, and pay, for their neutering, as part of the deal (afer they'd visited to make sure we were fit and proper. Hoho).

The Cats' Protection League give their adopters vouchers for neutering, or arrange to have it done.

Yeh, we basically have An Official Letter which the vets send to the RSPCA to get their money back. They do the op at a discount for the Society too. But a standard de-bollocking is about 21 quid, and with them having had to hunt around, it may be as much as 150, and it's been known for the RSPCA to only cover part of that.

He has a couple of impressive bald patches on his tum with stitches in the middle of them. But he's eaten and pooed and done some jumping onto things so I reckon he's OK. Back on Weds for a check and then again next week for stitch removal.

And to think there's normally a prize if you can successfully spot the ball.

Ah, we got our from the Scottish Cat Rescue, which seems to be run on a very short shoe string. The cats were chipped before we got them, and they checked up that we had had them done, when the time came. Which cost just a bit more than a debollocking, them both being queens. And their foster owner still sends them Christmas cards.

Well we gave the RSPCA a hunk of cash when we picked him up.
He's chipped and the neutering and the first run of jabs are covered, and we had a month's free insurance.
