1st hand, KJ, mid position, standard raise, 1 caller, a re-raise, called it.
Flop has a J and 2 low cards, I bet about half the pot.
Previous caller calls BUT DOESN'T DELETE THE MAIL HE REPLIED TO SO I GET TO SEE HIS POCKET 66
Other guy folds. This pot is mine!
Next card off is an A, doesn't help him, I try to bet an amount that looks like a weak bluff, to induce a call, but I guess he realises I know what he has and he folds.
Still, up $4550 first hand won't do me any harm.

Is this real convert-to-sterling-and-spend money, or a point system pretending to be money?

WRGPT is pretend money. It's all for the kudos. But one year a gambling book retailer offered a prize of about $100 worth of book tokens.

$100 in book tokens? That's about, what, £50? Not to be sneezed at. Shame about the rest being pretend money though :(

1st hand I had to toss even though I was BB, and I wouldn't have won if I'd stayed in.
2nd hand as SB I pitched in the $50 and the blinking BB went and raised so I tossed them. I had Q9s. The flop was AQ9. Bah. The two people left in at the end both had A8 and won a net of $400 each. Mind you, the flop had three spades (and two of my suit) so I couldn't have known that I wasn't betting against a flush.
3rd hand: rubbish.
4th hand: suited, but still rubbish.

Ha, at least you're seeing some cards, my table's still on hand two, pre-flop.
I called the BB but somebody's min-raised. If nobody else wants to take him on I'll go that much to see the flop.

Hand 6, decided to just fold an A4 offsuit from mid position with one prior caller. Nobody raised, three people in, and the flop was AK4. Bah. Hope someone gets a flush.

I just had the most appalling run in the 1st heat of the PokerPlayerMagazine Grand Prix
Flopped trips, rivered
str8 draw, right pot odds, didn't come
made a flush, rivered by a full house
two drawing hands that didn't come
out.
