Coz if I did, I'd have known it was today the leccy-meter-swap-man was coming.
By chance I was back from the vet when he arrived. Meters swapped (aren't these new ones TINY?) now and everything seems to be working (fridge, freezers, boiler are the worry...).

I don't think I even knew we were getting the meter changed!

How long did it take?

I have 2 leccy meters, one for each wing of the house, and want them joining back into one supply. East Midlands kept telling me they wanted to put a new meter in the flat and I kept saying that I wanted it switched back to the main supply. They said I should get my supplier to do this, but the supplier said that EM should do it. I gave up in the end. It was too much like a PITA.

Maybe an hour. Less if we hadn't chatted. He borrowed a screwdriver off me coz he's not allowed to carry that type under H&S rules... It was one of those stubby ones, there was an awkward gap it was useful for, just for one screw - but it had more than N mm of bare metal shaft and so is verboten.

click, click, read, note, click, read, note, click, read, check, click, read, check, stop, have cup of tea. I know it's only complicated cos I have a night rate and a day rate.
I really must finish building that 198KHz pulse generator. :-)
