Poking around, I found this one at Toys Am We, which is supposed to be adjustable from ages 5 to 11. Might be worth giving them a call / dropping them an email? Or popping in if there's a convenient one in Manc, perhaps.

Perhaps most importantly, it has dragons on.

I suspect I've examined that in the past and run away screaming.
Toysr do pretty cheap standard boards, no-name parts but would do, probably. The JJB ones seem to be some kind of own-brand, if you FWSE "Karnage skateboard" only JJB comes up.
I might go for a very basic name-brand one for me, about 30 quid or something.

I vaguely remember junior getting a made up board by Powell from a skate shop in Brighton for about £35 a few years ago, and it was REALLY good.

Thing with those is that the wheels won't go over small stones or gravel, leading to accidents. Only usable for carpets I suspect.
