We had this:
When I was putting him to bed, he was more interested in playing with his Lego fireman. I had to threaten him with story-loss to get him into his pyjamas, and he gave the fireman to me.
When I gave it back I'd moved the legs, or the arms, or both, and he was almost apoplectic.
I attempted to put it all back where it had been, but he was not to be mollified, and in a tone of voice I can't describe but would expect from an adult who just can't take ANYMORE rather than a four year old, he said "Go away. Just go. Leave me alone. Just go".
It was so funny I had to go down to tell L. So he told me off for Just Going to the wrong place, as well.
And then we read a story from the compleat Thomas boxset, the Little Zeb "Naughty" book, and had a look at the dentist page in the Big Word Book.
