Removed old carpet - lucky it's bin day.
Introduced shower curtains to the washing machine.
New skirting fixed, eventually, after some extreme sanding to make it fit, and a distressing amount of filler to cover the gap to the very uneven wall.
Vac'd round.
Wiped woodwork down with white spirit.
Primed new skirting, decided best to prime all the woodwork.
Collected duvets - not quite dry after 3 hours in tumbler so now on racks outside.
Refitted cupboard and shelves.
Touched up a couple of bits of wall damaged when refitting shelves.
1st coat on woodwork.
Now, a quick beer, then put all the stuff away. Would like to do something to the dodgiest bits of the floor tonight, before the vinyl fitter comes tomorrow. And will need to touch up some of the wall where the wood paint went astray, but might leave that until after the second coat (which, sadly, it will need)
