I remember the weather when I first met my mother-in-law:
Force 9 gale; sleet from the north-east.
Dredger went down in Liverpool bay: all hands lost.
Wish I'd been on it.


Ah, "I didn't know you cared" was some of Tinniswood's best, wasn't it?

Oh, neither, really, though in later years my first MiL drove me nuts.
It's just a nice example of the kind of stuff in IDKYC - the first series was a bit shaky, to be honest, but has some lovely little nuggets.
