Light snow, but currently steady.
Almost covered the road.
Sledging tomorrow, perhaps?

If your renewal quote comes through at 275 but Confused.com says 230 from the same company, you may have to go through a few people but you'll get that price on the phone in the end, and it'll be recorded as continuing business rather than cancel+new. Most of the change was a reduction in mileage, but a bit was an internet discount which they'll give if you say "but on the internet..."

I was in Games Workshop last week - Jack going Wow at the models - and noticed the gamers don't, in the main, use the fancy polyhedral dice. They use multiple d6 instead - gives you that nice bellcurve effect for the outcomes.
Of course, I invented polydice back in the early 70s, but somebody stole the idea then went back in a time machine and put it on the market years earlier.

The cat's had his first wetfood today (and dumped a fair bit in his water, why do they do that?), so I put some dry down, and he decided he'd rather jump up on the counter and have some of yesterday's dry that's in the washing up queue. Totally bonkers.

Just been out snowballing with The Lad. Great fun, but only just enough snow to be able to pick it up, and then mainly from other people's cars. Certainly not enough to build a snowman (or snowdog). Very cold out (put it away then). Nobody else about, strangely.

You're all going to feel very silly when it comes round to spring-cleaning time and you've nowt left to chuck out

Toymaster have reduced the Transformers chess set to 10 quid...
(but I prefer to stick to Staunton, I'm easily confused)

HMV have a 40CD Mozart set for 7 quid...
(but I'm really not at all keen on Mozart)
