oldbloke's mutterings

Good start this morning, with 1 less adult to get through the bathroom, hit the road 10 minutes earlier than usual. Traffic was good so saved over 20 minutes on the trip!
However, this meant I arrived at Jack's nursery BEFORE they opened, and they wouldn't let me in...

Then spent a larger part of the day cleaning up a laptop, XP Home, no passwords, no firewall, never seen a security patch in its life. Sorted most of it out but it's still doing pop-ups for so-called spyware removers.

Finally, on the way home Jack decided to grumble a bit, then a fair bit, then a lot, then almost constantly. And wasn't much mollified by a feed when he got home, and rejected all food except chips.
Teeth, probably. Falling and bruising his cheek after tea won't help. Enjoyed his bath as usual, though: deadly aim into the 4-hole stacky cup with his wee.
