Stuart's brought his Telecaster in. When asked why, he said he's selling it.
What!?!? say I, You've only had it a year.
Yes, he replies, but I'm getting a USB one and I can't really keep more than 4 guitars.
So, it's a Mexican Tele, cost him 350 a year(ish) ago, he's looking for 200.
Should I??? I mean, it's not a Strat, or a Gibbo LP.

No, it's a tele, which is the connoisseur's guitar.
As long as it's either cream or sunburst.

And he's looked on ebay and now wants only 170 for it!

Beware.. it's a slippery slope you know.. I mean, I thought I could handle it.. I even got rid of them all at one point and just used the wife's Hokada.. now I have the fake Strat, the fake SG, the Applause, the Eko Ranger 12 string, the Tanglewood bass, the 3/4 scale steel strung, the violin, the ukulele, 3 console organs, the piano...

That's not even thinking of the amps, the mixers, the FX boxen, the mics, the stands, the speaker cabs, the cables...

Well... I have:
A very old Hofner Verithin that I've theoretically been fixing for, ooo, 20 years now;
A bass an old mate gave me, with a slightly wonky neck;
A Yamaha PSR290 keyboard.

Apart from the lack of a drumkit, that plus the Tele would be enough for a standard rock band lineup.

Best not to mention the recorders, BSA tin whistle, and Tibetan finger cymbals.

There's a harmonica floating about somewhere.

He's definitely the product of both of you, isnt' he. That's a smile to die for. Be thankful you had a boy - girls can twist daddy around their little fingers far more readily than boys... and I'll take a bet that J can twist daddy (and mummy) around his little finger quite enough already!
