All the mail I want to keep is now off the Uni server and onto the one where my domain is hosted.
I've unsubbed from all the lists I can that sent to my Uni address.
Lst job was to update the address Nectar have for me. Done.
They reckon the Uni address will keep working until Christmas (selection boxes now in Morrison's...) but is likely to be dead after that.

Did the lawns at the weekend, which, as they hadn't been done for a while, what with the weather and our itinerary, generated about 3 cubic feet of cuttings. Which only just fitted in the compost bin. I just took a banana skin out there, took the lid off, there were about a trillion wriggling worms staring up at me. Quite a sight!

PF were good in their day, yeh - up to about AHM, though they were starting to get tedious round the edges even then - but I'm not going to be putting on a black armband.

So, we know who took Jack's car home "by mistake" [1]. But there's a very complex story about flushed toilets going on - which may be entirely made up of course - so I dunno if we'll be seeing it again.
I imagine this has given the teachers the chance to do the Respect For Personal Property stuff nice and early in the term, actually.
In "Timothy Goes To School" we never do find out just where the netsuke family were, overnight.

[1] Jack's adamant he put it in his coat pocket as per the rules. Let's be generous - maybe it fell out and was picked up off the floor. The way Jack throws his coat about this isn't unlikely.
