A while back, walking through a shopping mall, we chanced upon one of those win-a-car prize draws.
Well, I wouldn't say no to new Audi, so...

Got a phonecall today, apparently I made it through the first 2 stages and am now 1 of only 11 left in!
I suspect this is bollocks though.

But apparently it's a new Audi OR half a mill cash.
No contest really, with half a mill you can buy a new Audi anyway and still have enough left to live on for the rest of your life, well if you send the wife out to work anyway.

And then he tried to get me to sign up for some Euromillions party plan...

So, we went.
Quite nice pool, and most kids went back to school today or yesterday so it wasn't busy and most of the people in were mum&kid combos. Not strictly warm but not cold. Starts at 1.25m and gets progressively deeper, up to a divider at a movable floor. About 3pm they dropped that and laned off 1 small section to make a 25m lane which a Serious Swimmer then occupied. A few old codgers were about, and a load more mums with tinies turned up just after half 3 and I think the divider was coming up again, they make the short section beyond it supershallow for the littlies, I think.
As per, J immediately latched onto a pretty nearly-5-yr-old girl, but instead of chasing her round he could now swim after her. Which was nice.
Didn't see any leaflets about memberships or timetables and the desk was busy so didn't ask. Will pop up sometime in the next fortnight to sort that.

I opened the packet of salmon.
There was a plaintive cry.
Several points of sharpness in my leg.
I had a kitten climbing me.
