On Saturday we went to to branches of John Lewis. One claimed J to be an 8anarf, t'other a 9.
Neither had shoes in the appropriate size and style. But they reckoned stock changes almost daily.

So today we went back.
1st one still says 8anarf and still didn't have anything.
2nd still says 9 and didn't...
By this time he's practically ballistic, nothing is fair, he wants a green transformer and a pair of shoes that come with a free dumper truck and and and
Clarks, Trafford Centre. The machine says he's a 9, and a machine doesn't do human error. And they have stock of something that doesn't rub his ankle.
And so we have shoes for school and shoes for PE.
At last.

But I forgot the labels you stick inside the heels.
Must start sewing his name labels in his trousers tomorrow...
