Saw J this morning, and told her she's not the only one who can swim 3km.
She's done 3.5...
...but couldn't move her arms for a day afterwards, she reckons.
Apparently on her upcoming 'holiday' she has a 3.5km and a 2km to do in the same day, with a nice hike inbetween.
It's probably a quicker way round the Lake District than fighting the summer traffic.
