Up with the boy at 6 as per.
Off shopping early enough to avoid the Tod carnival parade traffic mayhem.
Lidl had no Perlenbacher so had to get Fink for Euronight.
Home in time for the Monaco qualies
Then off to the carnival
Jack went on 9 count them 9 rides: bouncy dome, bouncy slide (he's finally 'got' cargo net traversal), spacerocket ride simulator, racing car, aeroplanes, roundabout (in a pink jeep), teacups (which turn out to have a user controllable spin so you can make them like waltzers if the child is OK with it, which he was), chairoplane, carousel horse (with excellent thumbs-up signs as he passed us). Only 3 of those needed him to have one of us with him.
Rounded off with some candyfloss while watching the Hebden Bridge jesters (Q: Are jesters the ones who fail Clown School?), where he enjoyed shouting "Rubbish!" at them, and then a lay in the ordinary park playground.
Home for tea and a bit of a rest then off to Suzanne's for Eurovision with a projector TV, lots of crisps and Eurobeer. As she's off to Cornwall today she'd put her kids to bed but Jack didn't mind, it meant he got to play with whichever of their toys he wanted with no fighting. Shortly before the voting began I decided that if I'd been having a bet, it would be Armenia to place - how many places do the bookies pay out on, I wonder? Or do they only take Win bets?
Not in bed until after midnight! Quite rare these days.
Somewhere in there I managed the Graun Sudoku and killer and killersudokuonline 881. Didn't finish 882 until this morning, though made the breakthrough last night.
And now it's the Monaco GP. With an all-red front row. Gloom.
