Jack had a brief go on the new skateboard yesterday.
I got him to sit on it and gave him a bit of a push on the pavement outside.
He's not heavy enough to make it steer, even if he understood how, really.
But it seems to have a tendency to go off to the left slightly.
It was cheap I suppose.
And maybe it's just something like the rubbers needing to bed in.
I tried it the length of the (clear part of the) garage a few times, and the steering seems OK with my weight.
Then managed to get him balanced upright on it, get him moving, and briefly let go - for about 18" - a couple of times.
He looks quite cool with all his protection pads on. I don't.
And then the thunder arrived and we came inside.
Off to a party today. There ought to be a law against having parties when (a) there's a Grand Prix on, and (b) I'm feverish, achy, and have a sore throat with some virus
