Couple of inches here at the moment. Spoze I'd better try to clear the drive. Though they reckon rain later, I think.

Just seen a small car going down the hill, front wheels locked, but still doing about 5mph. Oops. And a van earlier slid a lot on the bend out of our street. We might leave the shopping until later. Maybe tomorrow. Coz it's coming down again.

We went out because I /really/ wanted to pick up my Bogart movies from the sorting office. Thought we might have to leave the car at the bottom of the hill and walk up. BUT the gritter has been round. AND first time ever it gritted OUR street!

Yesterday I checked with the lifeguard how long the pool I've been using is. Because it's half of a 50mtr pool which has a divider that comes up when they want to split it. And the /other/ half is 25mtr, the half I've been using is only 23. So I didn't do a kilometre on Monday and Wednesday, or a hllf kilometre last night. No, 40 lengths leaves you 80 metres short. I did do 42 lengths on Wednesday, so not so far off. Can't remember about Monday. Ah well. I must work out how many lengths for a mile, though I won't be ready for that for a bit yet.

We went down to the garden centre this afternoon, bought a sledge, and took it to the park while there was still just enough snow to use it. Jack's first time. Very small hill, but enough for him. Then we made a snowman. Then we went home and had a snowball fight on the patch of grass in front of the house.
Hope it snows again!
