There's this thang you can do with an old LCD monitor you don't mind ripping apart and one of those projectors for acetate slides, in which you end up with a TV (or at least, a computer) projector giving you big big pictures for little monetary outlay - none, in fact, if you can salvage the parts from somebody's scrap. Of course it doesn't look very pretty, but it's cheap and fun.
There's an acetate projector here they'd like shot of...

Got home last night to find the last-but-one item of my christmas token/cashgift spends had arrived (the last is [will be] from hmv, who apparently advertise things they don't have in stock...)
It was the Rex The Runt DVD boxset, all the way from the USA as for some inexplicable reason it's not available here.
What am I bid for my old series 1 of RtR, on VHS?
Series 1,2,3 of Chorlton&TheWheelies on DVD ? (I might burn a copy of the christmas special disc for anybody who buys the others, they're only redundant coz I had to get the boxset to get that special)
