Averaged 15mph on this morning's commute.
1hr40min to do 25miles.
Coz, a truck broke down at the entry to the M62/A627M roundabout, and being delayed by that put us on Oldham Broadway at just the right time to be held up by an accident there.
Ah well, at least we got a 52 for our number plate collection.

Every day at the moment, another few people find out that they're on the redeployment list.
Unexpectedly, in not a few cases. The next 8 months are going to be weird.
Eg, the team that (among other things) looked after centralised printing no longer exists.
What happens when there's a problem and the students start complaining?
Nobody knows.
Apparently they'll keep the shop going until July, then it closes and the rumoured replacement in the new SCAN building is no longer in the plans. Currently. Want a mouse? Printer cartridge? Software we license centrally?

The place is full of little knots of people having either whispered or hysterical conversations.
I've seen more than one person holding back the tears.
