Can anybody tell me why WinRAR might add a whole bunch of stuff (the content of the IE temp folder, by the look of it) to a zip it creates?
This is when called from a link on our student webmail system, running on a Vista Home Premium machine (poor girl!).
She had a virus and it seems to have started about then - or did it? How would we prove that? The virus was removed by A Company for 30 quid. I'm not doing a full hunt-the-nasty job for free if she's daft enough to pay!
I'm guessing that either our webmail + vista + WinRAR just doesn't gel, or something has messed with WinRAR's settings.
Anybody seen owt like this ?
