Well.
October.
We can put the central heating on.
And, not unlikely, call out an engineer within the week.

Playing the number plate game (We're looking for 26[me] and 25[L] after two weeks or is it three, time flies when you're enjoying yourself) I'm noticing that there seem to be a lot of cars about at the moment with no front number plate. I wonder if some kids got the idea of the game wrong and are actually taking the plates instead of just noting them.

They don't have number plates in F1. They do have numbers, but they're a bit hard to see amid all the sponsors' decals these days. Gawd I remember when the number was the only thing breaking up the paint job. One or two drivers ended up with rather less car than normal, not just no number plate, yesterday, but it was another superlative performance by the shoo-in for Sports Personality Of The Year, Lewis Hamilton. Just 9 points from being the youngest ever F1 champeen.

http://www.ryburne.co.uk/woodlanehall.htm looks great from the outside, but being listed you wouldn't be able to do it up how you might want inside anyway.

http://212.50.188.107/cgi-win/vebra.cgi?details1?src=vebra&PropertyCode=1117001/THEOL/16281/1 could be fun, but it's not actually even detached!

http://www.ryburne.co.uk/commonsfarm.htm isn't bad, but some of the bedrooms are small or a funny shape.

http://www.ryburne.co.uk/lowerwhitelee.htm is better, but that hall carpet will have to go.

I think L fancies this one though:
