He's been watching 101 Dalmatians a lot lately.

This morning, partway through it, he said:

I want a puppy

Well done, you did it the way it ought to be done. One continuous high quality display, no rubbish, all done in 5 minutes, go back indoors and get pished.

Somebody spent some money on that, it kept plenty of stuff up in the sky non-stop for nearly 5 minutes, and it was all good. All the colours, plenty of effects, no unnecessary silly noises, building to a set of really excellent starbursts.

There were 4 separate 60th birthday notices for one woman in the local rag today, so maybe it was to do with that. I might go and buy something a bit special in the fireworks line for my 60th. Not long now...

Just as we were about to leave the supermarket today, when I went to put the trolley back in the trolleypark, I spotted a car with its passenger window wide open. And the locks looked like they weren't.
Being an upright kind of guy, instead of looking to see what I could nick, I went back into the shop and got the staff to put out a message with the reg number.
I did it myself once: left my car with the windows open in the Stockport Sainsbury's carpark for about 90 minutes. Got away with it.
