The first time I installed Sophos Enterprise Manager, I had to hit it with a stick to make it work.
The second time, I'd forgotten where to hit it so it was troublesome again.
It's not actually hard if you know what you're doing, of course, but having busked my way through 30 years of IT, I occasionally stumble over stuff.
Tomorrow is the upgrade to 1.3
I've got the upgrade manual, I've got everything I can think of that might be relevant on the server written down and printed out so I can see what changes, and what I might need to change.
I've backed up all the files I think are relevant.
Now all I have to do is download the installer, come in bright and early tomorrow, cross my fingers, sacrifice a goat, and then DO IT.
Wish me luck.
