#1: Bad back
I've had a bad back all week - sciatica, pain mainly in my arse but with all the fun of it moving up and down my leg as well. I avoid medication as far as possible, for anything, but this has driven me to neurophen. I lay on the floor this evening after getting home and managed, on moving my leg in a certain way, to get my spine to click in an interesting fashion. And it's not been quite so bad since. Hurrah!
Of course, I've had a back problem for something like 25 to 30 years now, did it in somehow and ended up with 6 weeks off work mainly lying flat on my back, needing help to get from the living room to the bathroom at its worst. But that was all down the left leg. This is down the right... but it's likely the same vertebrae involved.

If you change the directory a script copies some files to, make sure the user the script runs as has write permission to it. The users won't bother telling you it's not working right. I suppose I could have put more error checking in it, too. Ah well.
Bonus item: Antivirus
A certain antivirus scanner from a major supplier of such has a problem with servers.
The workaround is to disable the on-access scanning.
Or you could just uninstall it, for the same effect.
