About quarter to 5 this morning, Jack called - we both woke, but L went to him.
He _wasn't_ in bed! He wasn't even in his bedroom!! He was on the landing!!!
First time ever he's left his bed on his own. He likes to pull the covers up over his head to sleep ("I want to hide") and had managed over the course of the night to get an entire duvet up past his head until he was no longer covered, so came for help.
I suppose now we'll have trouble getting him to stay in bed: at getting-up time this morning he came to find me in the bathroom instead of waiting for me to go in and get him. Oh well.
And for your minor amusement - while L was settling him after that quarter to five excitement, I nipped to the loo. And I did quite a loud fart. Whereupon, I'm told, he said "That's Daddy". Sigh.
