Last night we did a fly-by of a colleague's place, to pick up a swing (referred to as "scrap metal" so as not to get the lad overexcited). As we left, he asked who That Lady was and L told him it was one of Daddy's colleagues. New word! So we've had "Where's Daddy's colleague?" off and on ever since.
That's just the usual mildly amusing stuf. The cracks-me-up stuff is the way he invents little games. Like last night, as we neared home, L yawned. Boy asks her if she's asleep, she says no. Shortly afterwards:
(command voice)Mummy yawn
(L yawns)
All aboard! Wake up boy!
(Followed by maniacal laughter.)
This repeats a few times, then L tries telling the boy to yawn, so he does, and L gives the 'All aboard' line, and he replies "no thank you" - followed by more maniacal laughter.
In other news, we still haven't figured out the "fishtank!" thing. It's definitely a defence against crocodiles, somehow.
