I thought the championship was Schumacher's for the taking when Alonso's driveshaft went, but then Schu went out too - I venture he ought to have been DQ'd for those tyres anyway.
Now, a Schu-Alonso 1-2 5 times isn't enough for Schu. Mind you 5 1-2s isn't a very likely scenario anyway, but you have to find fun ways to describe how the bar's set for this stuff.
I make a profit either way. I think. I'd best check exactly what payout I get from Betfair for the various outcomes.
