well, a great week away. got everything done we wanted to, and top weather to do it in.
the hovercraft is only going to work on _very_ smooth surfaces or almost totally unruffled water, but is clearly going to be enough fun to warrant the 17.50.
the Nina Simone and Gary Carson arrived after we'd left, sadly, but hey, we have them now.
both lawns cut today and a more-interesting-than-usual F1 race: k3w1. And much as I'd like to see Button do well, I find I've developed a soft spot for Coulthard and was very pleased for him when he snatched 8th right at the end.
I see Robinson's have changed the label (and bottle) of Old Tom. Thought I'd better have one to check it was still OK. It is. What's with the "specially brewed for" thing? the Coop had one from Thwaites, Sainsers have a couple from Wychwood (tried the Osprey, very nice)
I may do a full trip report if I get bored at work tomorrow, but for now: Jack gets excited about going on a bus/train/b oat, sees it arrive, gets on it, 5 minutes later, because he can't see it from the outside, forgets he's on it and starts asking if he can go on one... Or something. I'm still not fully fluent in Jack. Mind you I'm not sure I'm fully fluent in Me, sometimes.
