Just put together an Ikea storage unit in Jack's room. It holds slide-out-able plassy bin things. It's stepped - 3 sections of increasing height. He'd climbed up it to the very top 3 times before I'd even got the last 6 screws in. And had been about to try to get off via the longest possible drop once. MAybe if we put things on it, it won't be quite so obviously a staircase. Or perhaps we should just surround it with cushions or megabubblewrap or something. Or just let him get on with it - he's still the only one of his peers who hasn't been to A&E.

went twice today. could fill the car again if I tried...

1st (0f 53 left of 320) in a poker tourney - 250 quid if I stay there (free entry, it was).

I made it to the final table, was 2nd in chips when there were just 6 of us left, and then I made a very stupid mistake[1] and got myself knocked out.
3 off the money.
