Finally, I went to Wagamama's. Not bad. They claimed the bit of the kitchen doing L's food was Very Busy but I think they fucked up, frankly, and had to Redo From Start. Still, it meant there was only a brief period when both of us had food and that's actually quite handy when Jack gets bored and needs Serious Parenting (following him about to stop him wrecking stuff or being run down by a waiter).
We were in town to buy books. We got 3 bagfulls (?bagsfull?). Including TheNewOne.
We also got me a new small cafetiere, for the office. I refuse to join the work milk club, though.
A great deal of Manc seemed to contain people selling various bubble machines and Advanced Bubble Wands. Jack likes bubbles - hey, who doesn't?
My niece - whose son is older than mine - had her second baby last night. A big welcome to Darcy Jayne, 7lb15oz.
I actually haven't told anybody in my family about my vasectomy yet. Perhaps I should. I wonder why I haven't. Odd thing, the human psyche.
