Somebody out there will know this:
I have some juggling balls. I throw them up something between a foot and two feet. Let's say 25 to 60 cm to keep it modern and SI. One set weighs 130g each, the other 450g each. How many throws do I have to make to use up, say, 1000 calories? Do I use further calories in the catch, to kill the kinetic energy in the ball, or do I actually steal some of that kinetic energy to put into the next throw?
