oldbloke at 09:43am on 09/06/2005As our commute requires us to get up at 6, even before Jack we were occasionally a bit tired.
Now, even though I don't go to him in the night, my sleep's disturbed when L gets up to go to him.
And then on Tuesday evening I went out to play cards, not getting to bed until 00:40.
So I was less than my best on Wednesday.
L gave Jack his bedtime feed but - as often happens - he didn't quite go to sleep, so I went to settle him, and L went out to her PCC meeting.
When she came back she found Jack & me side by side on his bed, both snoring happily.
I got up - I'd not have slept later if I hadn't, and besides, I hadn't done that day's Sudoku yet.
