www.hotpoker.com seems to work with IE but not Firefox (mangled screen - maybe that's me though, Bejewelled is mangled on just this PC too, in Firefox).
Couldn't find anything that'd let you grab the dealer program though.
Nobody else is using it to play, so your buddies could take over a table.
Only does 2-4 hold'em though.
Uses tcp/ip for the networking, instead of irc, dunno if that gets around the problems that stopped your lot using the site you were on.

You fold T8offsuit - I mean, it's rubbish. OK, I was in the big blind, in for 2000 already, so I'd have seen the flop if that opther guy hadn't gone all in. He had AK or somesuch, missed the board but beat the one guy who stayed thanks to his ace. I'd have paired both the T and the 8...

Then A5offsuit. In the small blind. I've won hands with that a couple of times already in this tournament, but a guy went all-in. Only an extra 6000 or so, but not worth the risk. So that's another 1200 gone without even playing.

And the cards I have now are rubbish, too.
