What on earth do they make hot cross buns out of these days?
They're like a soggy version of dwarfbread - they don't go off!
They just sit there in the breadbin, daring you to eat them.
I'm sure they never used to be that soggy in the old days, too.
Perhaps I ought to try toasting one sometime.
